Teen recording artist Dy’jah releases first single

Singer-songwriter Dy’Jah pays tribute to her dearly departed friend and mentor in her first single, “”Hey Friend.”

This inspirational song, co-written by Dy’Jah, expresses her heartfelt sentiments of love, friendship and the pain that accompanies losing of a loved one.

“Hey Friend,” produced by Eddie Ferguson of Walk1 Productions out of Houston, aims to elicit hope and stir the heart while capturing a wide audience with Dy’Jah’s vocals and talent.

Dy’Jah, just 15 years old is both a singer and songwriter. As an incoming sophomore in the Calcasieu Parish School District, Dy’Jah understands the value of hard work and dedication, and she looks forward to the endless possibilities of the upcoming season.

Dy’Jah just shot the official music video for the hit single “Hey Friend” in Houston.
