Lynx clinch a playoff spot

The Minnesota Lynx arrive at the Olympic break sporting an incredibly impressive 21-4 record, matching 2012 for their best record at the 25-game mark.

The 2015 defending WNBA champions also extended their string of 20-win seasons to six, equaling the longest such run in league history, tying the Los Angeles Sparks’ streak from 1999-2004.

Over the past six seasons, Minnesota has been nearly unstoppable, winning three championships, reaching the WNBA Finals four times, qualifying for the playoff every year, and tallying a total of 148 games won, the second-most-prolific total in league annuals.

Riding a six game winning streak, the Lynx have the second best record in the league, trailing the Sparks by just a half game for the league’s top spot.
