Pre-schoolers earn first diplomas at Wheatley cap and gown ceremony

Twelve pre-schoolers in caps and gowns received diplomas and a bag of kindergarten school supplies at the Phyllis Wheatley Community Center on June 8. Daisha Crockett's mother Robin and sister Siobahn helped celebrate her graduation from the center's Mary T. Wellcome Child Development Center, where children learn skills to do well in public school.
