Friendship Academy students excel in arts competition

Several students at Friendship Academy of Fine Arts K-6 School entered their visual art projects in the Minnesota State Fair Art Competition. This year's Art Fair Competition had many more entrants than last year. Friendship Academy earned five awards in the Visual Arts Category. Friendship Academy of Fine Arts, 310 E. 38th St., Minneapolis begins another school year celebrating the accomplishments of students who entered the Minnesota State Fair Art Competition.

Several students at Friendship Academy of Fine Arts K-6 School entered their visual art projects in the Minnesota State Fair Art Competition. This year's Art Fair Competition had many more entrants than last year. Friendship Academy earned five awards in the Visual Arts Category.

The five winners of the Minnesota State Fair Art Competition for 2007 from Friendship Academy are: Dominique Abrams, 3rd grade, 4th place winner; Evian Wilson, 4th grade, 2nd place winner; Erik Lagarejo, 4th grade, 3rd place winner; Larenzo Culver, 5th grade, 4th place winner; and Breanna Wilson, 6th grade, 4th place winner.
