The sorry state of affairs between Minneapolis African Americans and the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) continues to worsen. The death of Christopher Burns during a struggle with police has been ruled a homicide.
I was recently interviewed on “Florida Speaks Out,” a radio show in Ft. Lauderdale, (Mystik Radio 1580 AM). The show is hosted by Brother Jean Jabouin and Ms. Ivy, natives of Haiti and Jamaica, respectively.

No matter where we are in our spaces, it’s always wise to look over our fences and beyond our own backyards. I thought it might be of interest to readers to look out into some other cities where Black folks are living and exploring our cultural spaces in this world.
