The Rev. Festus A. Umeojiego, the new minister at Unity South, has a long history in the Twin Cities Unity Ministries. He previously served as the Senior Minister of Unity Church in Woodbury from 1988 to 2001.
Dr. N. Cindy Trimm, best known as the General in the art of Strategic Prayer and Spiritual Warfare, will bring her International Prayer Tour to Minnesota this week, February 18-19.

Graduates from the Hennepin County Drug Court celebrated their successful completion of a 12 month program led by Fourth Judicial District’s problem solving Drug Court judges Peter Cahill and Toddrick Barnette at a program held in the Hennepin County Government Center. The 23 graduates, surrounded by family, friends, probation officers and staff listened to Chief Justice Eric Magnuson remark in his address that the judiciary is “committed to support Drug Court funding.”
It is better to give than to receive. On Thursday, Dec. 18, Maxfield Elementary students received gift cards from Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Alumni Chapter who partnered with alumni from Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. The organizations donated $1,150.00 worth of gift cards to stores such as Target, Cub, Rainbow, and Wal-Mart. The purpose of the giving was to help students and their families with the purchase of gifts and basic necessities during the holiday season.
