Brother Ali joins leaders for racial justice rally at the Capitol Rotunda

brother-ali--photo-by-jonathan-mannionOrganizing Apprenticeship Project will release the 2012 Legislative Report Card on Racial Equity and the 2013 Racial Equity Agenda on Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Gather at 10:15 a.m. Rally at 10:30 a.m. State Capitol Rotunda.

The event at the Minnesota Capitol Rotunda will feature artists Brother Ali and Chilli Lor, and bring together multiracial communities working to build racial justice statewide.

OAP will also honor 69 legislative champions – leaders who in the 2012 legislative session had a positive voting and leadership record for pursuing racial justice. The 2013 Racial Equity Agenda outlines multiple strategies and solutions for breaking down barriers to racial and economic justice, and has the support of over 45 organizations.
