marydavidMary David, who supports people with developmental disabilities living independently in South Minneapolis, received the Inclusive Housing Award from The Arc of Minnesota. David received her award at The Arc of Minnesota Awards Banquet on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Breezy Point Resort in Breezy Point, Minnesota.

She also advocates with policymakers at the Capitol to support housing for individuals with disabilities.

The Arc of Minnesota is a statewide, non-profit organization that promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. It has 5,400 members and 12 affiliated chapters statewide.
