The Inclusive Housing Award honors individuals, agencies, and organizations that provide outstanding support for persons with developmental disabilities so they can live in the community as independently as possible. David, who works for Opportunity Partners, is being honored for her outstanding work of supporting people who live semi-independently. She assists individuals through the entire process of finding appropriate housing, facilitates the transition from their current living situations to their new homes, anticipates challenges and creates solutions, and supports people once they are settled. She also advocates with policymakers at the Capitol to support housing for individuals with disabilities.
