Energy meters available for check out at Hennepin County libraries

Fifty easy-to-use Power Check energy meters will soon be available to borrow at Hennepin County libraries. Beginning Oct. 1, requests may be placed for the energy meters either online or in person at any of 39 Hennepin County libraries. The meters may be picked up at 31 Hennepin County libraries. To reserve a Power Check energy meter online, visit www.hclib.org and search the catalog under “Power Check Energy Meter.” Power Check energy meters can be borrowed for three weeks only.

Green For All has set up an online tool that makes it easy for people to call their Senators directly. HIRE Minnesota to mourn the passing of another failed construction season

HIRE Minnesota will stage a funeral procession to mourn the loss of yet another construction season in 2009. We will meet at Lao Family Community of Minnesota and march to the MnDOT headquarters, where we will hold a funeral to grieve for the loss of opportunity for people of color at MnDOT.
