Recycling calendars make it easy for you to help the environment

City of Minneapolis recycling customers should watch their mailboxes in late February for the City’s 2009 recycling calendar. The calendar will tell you what you can and can’t recycle through the City’s Solid Waste and Recycling service, and it will show all the dates in 2009 when you should put out your recycling. Recycling saves natural resources, energy and money, and it’s easy to recycle in Minneapolis.

St. Paul Baha'is to hold prayer gathering after Iran announces trial of imprisoned Baha'is

Baha'is of St. Paul will hold a prayer gathering on Saturday, February 21, 7 – 8 P.M. at The St. Paul Area Council of Churches (1671 Summit Ave, St. Paul) to express their concern and support for the seven members of their religion who have been in prison in Iran for nearly a year and who are now to stand trial on false charges of spying for Israel and insulting Islam. The public is invited to attend.
