dragon-feathersPhyllis Productions presents The Urban Spectrum Theatre Company's holiday children & family show, "Dragon Feathers" November 16 & 17 at the Old Arizona Theater, 2821 Nicollet Av. S., Minneapolis, under the direction of Judy Cooper Lyle and Penny Masuku.

"Dragon Feathers" is adapted by Larry McKenzie from an old Bavarian folk tale, and this telling takes Alejandro, the main character, from Spain, through Portugal and Morocco, to the Dragon's castle in Senegal, to find the flying Dragon and to pluck three golden feathers from him so he may win the hand of his fair maiden Isabella. Along the way he meets an interesting array of people, who present dances from their native lands as they tell their tales of woe.

Show times on November 16 are 10 AM, for group homes, day cares, and schools, and 7:30 PM. Saturday, November 17 times are 2:00 & 7:30 PM. Advance tickets are available online at www.brownpapertickets.com and at the door one hour prior to performance.
