Seantrel Henderson (St. Paul, MN) wins 2010 U.S. Army Inaugural Anthony Munoz Award

shendersonawardSeantrel Henderson (OT 6'8 300) of Cretin-Derham Hall, St. Paul, Minn. was awarded the first Anthony Munoz Award, given to the top prep lineman in the nation during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio. Henderson and his West teammates outscored the East team 30 – 14 to win the 10th Anniversary game.

The first-time award is named after Pro Football Hall of Fame offensive tackle Anthony Munoz who spent 12 years with the Cincinnati Bengals and became regarded as perhaps the greatest offensive lineman in professional football history.

Henderson was also one of seven finalists for the prestigious U.S. Army Player of the Year award. “Every U.S. ARMY ALL-AMERICAN reflects the characteristics found in the Army Strong Soldier and possesses a mental, emotional and physical strength like no other,” said Col. Derik Crotts, Director, Marketing and Outreach, U.S. Army Accessions Command.
