The Polars are undefeated so far starting off with a not-so-regular game. By the end of the first half of game one, the Polars lead St. Paul Como by a score of 14-0. And then, just as the official was signaling the start of the second half, the rains from the thunderstorm came. The game was halted and going by the books, the victory went to North.

Football teams do not begin their official season playing only the first half.
On Aug. 29, however, just before the beginning of the second half of the game between the North Minneapolis High School Polars and St. Paul Como Park, a loud and heavy thunderstorm demanded the head official make the game ... official. With North leading 14-0, on their home field, the game was called and the rains continued to fall in soaking fashion.
Later in their careers, the great athletes in sports often rebuff suggestions of their eminent demise with "in your face" victories for the history books. Each additional Grand Slam tournament victory by Serena Williams brings her closer to the title of Greatest of All-Time a.k.a. "The G.O.A.T." And be for certain, the rumors of Williams' demise are greatly exaggerated (meaning don't read that article I wrote a couple months ago).
