Ordway-produced ‘Damn Yankees’ a home run

The Ordway transforms its luxurious main lobby hall to reflect the essence of the production. Baseball uniform clad doormen and greeters welcomed the eclectic audience. Ushers escorted ticket holders into the stage hall, which was transformed into the 1950s world of baseball – stadium and all.

The series aims to reach new audiences through innovative programs that promise to open ears, minds and hearts to new sounds and experiences. The goal is to encourage a love of adventure an exploration in boundary-defying music.

Photo Credit Alaina Lewis[/caption]Week nine of the Insight 2 Health Fitness Challenge Round Five ended with a field trip to the $50 Million Dollar Mayo Sports Clinic in Block E downtown Minneapolis. The 20,000 sq. ft. facility opened its door to host the seventy plus I2H Fitness Challenge participants and their invited guests. Guests included Senator Bobby Champion, former I2H participants, community leaders, neighbors and family members.
