I won’t make resolutions this year; however I will focus on the HOPE of a better year for you and so many more people of the world. My hope is that everyone who is on a journey of self discover, finally realize that life is full of lessons. Everyone makes mistakes and sometimes you will fumble. But the key is to know that just because things aren’t working out the way you planned right now, doesn’t mean that you won’t reach your destination.

During this time of the year families celebrate the joy that the season brings and also the appreciation of time shared with loved ones.

Some say they wish they didn’t have to work weekends, and then there are those who just wish they could be working their dream job and not helping to build someone else’s dream. But when I ask them the question, “What they would do if they could follow their passion and work a job that is near and dear to their heart?” Most people don’t even know what their passion is. I have a passion to write and I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t do it. That’s what I mean by finding your passion. Your passion is what drives you to stay on track and to complete the goals you set to better your life and make you happy. Here are a few questions to ask yourself that may help you to figure it out.

It had been a while since we were all together, but it was like we had never missed a beat as friends. It reminded me of how important spending time with friends really is. This is something that we as adults sometime take for granted.

There are many individuals who have the same issues. They see themselves completing a goal, but for some strange reason they allow fear to step in and all of their dreams go out the window.

The dictionary says that, “Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being characterized by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment of intense joy.” Are you experiencing great joy in your life or in the work that you do? If not, then maybe you should figure out what happiness would look like in your life.
[caption id="attachment_22063" align="alignleft"]stockvault.net[/caption]This week I decided to take some quality time and lock myself away so I can work on my next goal. That goal is to finish my third book before the end of the year. Sometimes you have to put a time limit on your goals. A goal without a time limit is just a goal that can set in the back of your mind forever.
[caption id="attachment_21992" align="alignleft"]stockvault.net[/caption]Are you living your true passion? Do you work a job that you feel you were called to do? Not many of us are able to say that we are living a life filled with all the amazing things we thought we would be doing. I remember when I was young how I flipped through all types of careers that I thought I wanted to have. I once wanted to be a fashion designer, and after that I thought I wanted to be a teacher, then a nurse. Finally, I found my true calling!
[caption id="attachment_21898" align="alignleft"]stockvault.net[/caption]Today I want you to think about how wonderful your life is right now! I want you to give “Thanks” for all of the wonderful things you have been blessed with. Think about all of the life lessons that you’ve learned along the way and how amazing your journey has been thus far. I am not saying that your road was easy, but look at where you are now and where you used to be.
