I stop and think about my family, my friends, the work that I am blessed to do and all of the wonderful opportunities that await me on a daily basis. This helps me to stay focused and also helps me to have a more humbling spirit, which is very important to me.

These events have rocked my world somewhat and have made me take a look at my life more closely. I started thinking about my own dreams and ambitions. Have I done all the things that I set out to do? Have I achieved those goals that I set for myself so many years ago?

It would be nice to be born with this quality, but many times it takes work to build self esteem. There are millions of people who need to do those extra things to make sure they are confident and they stay that way. Having confidence in who you are and what you want is a part of self esteem which does not happen overnight. However, there are steps that I developed to help you along your journey. These are the steps that I share with my clients which have been known to help them to build self-esteem in their lives.

Find a mentor to help you along the way

Recently I found myself thinking about my childhood and things I missed out on. I found myself thinking about decisions that I made and decisions that were made that I had nothing to do with. For the most part, I had a very good upbringing. I come from a loving family and I had a very wonderful mother. But there were some things that I lacked.
