Motivational Moments: A new beginning, a new start

[caption id="attachment_19381" align="alignleft"]new beginningstockvault.net[/caption]This is the start of a new year and this is also the time when most people set their resolutions for change or they start to work on goals.

This year is also a time for new beginnings. The start of a new year is always a time to reflect on your life and decide to change or work on those things that you have been thinking about for a while. This year could be your new beginning.

Motivational Moments: Goals

[caption id="attachment_19230" align="alignleft"]goal setting activitiessalisbury.edu[/caption]With the end of the year approaching, here is how I like to end my year.

Take your time and read my advice, and maybe it will help you to move closer to achieving some of your goals. Identify exactly what goal you want to work on and see yourself completing it. There is power in a visual picture. If you can see yourself accomplishing it, then it will become a reality.

Motivational Moments: Time to think of goals for next year

During this season so many of us go out of our way to bring happiness to others, be it through holiday get-togethers, giving presents to loved ones, or giving to others in need. But this season as you do all those wonderful things, I want you to remember to also think about yourself. All too often, we spend so much time making sure everyone else’s needs are met, that we forget about our own needs.

Concentrate on how great your life could be

Are there ever times when you feel afraid?

I don’t mean afraid when you watch some scary movie, or afraid of noise in the night, but afraid that you will never be who you set out to be or achieve the goals you want to achieve. This form of fear will paralyze you and make you believe that you are stuck right where you are. It can make you give up and not move toward your greatness.

Achieving your most precious goal

Achieving your most precious goal

[caption id="attachment_18946" align="alignleft"]achieving-your-goals1mccannteam.com[/caption]Today I want you to think about what it would take to work on your most precious goal.

Your “precious goal” is the one goal that is your burning desire. This is the goal that you have always wanted to complete, but have not been able to do so as of today. This goal wakes you up in the morning and this is the goal that you think of completing before you go to sleep at night.

Motivational Moments: Clean out your life closet

Last week I decided to clean out my closets.

I decided to give away all of my old clothes and all of my old shoes that I haven’t worn in years. I decided that it was time be “out-with-the-old, and-in-with-the new.” I had clothes that I hadn’t worn in more than 15 years in there. I had to stop and ask myself why I was holding on to all of these old things. I meditated on this, and I came to the conclusion that I was holding on to a lot of old stuff because I wanted to hold on to the past.

Imagine how your life would be if you woke up in the morning and didn’t have a worry in the world. Everything you ever wanted was right there at your fingertips. Can you imagine this for a moment with me? Can you take a moment and totally imagine living the life you always wanted?

Motivational Moments: Change your thinking, change your life

[caption id="attachment_18731" align="alignleft"]freedomawakenwithlight.com[/caption]Today was a great day.

Not because of anything in particular, but because at the end of every day I give thanks for all with which I am blessed. Today was a great day because I was able to work on some of my long-term goals and to help others focus on their goals. Today was a great day because I have so much hope for tomorrow and I look forward to achieving my greatness.

Never give up on your dreams

[caption id="attachment_18557" align="alignleft"]downloadscienceofrelationships.com[/caption]Are you waiting on the right time to step into your greatness?

Are you waiting until the time is right for you to do what has been in your heart to do? Do you ever tell yourself that there are certain things that need to happen before your life will change for the better? Then welcome to the, “it can wait until later” club. Obviously, there is no such club. But if you asked around I am sure you could find more than one person that could belong in such a club.

Letting go of terrible past, moving on

penny-jones-richardson-copyLet go of old things that won’t allow you to move forward! Stop thinking about what you did in your past, or what someone did to you in the past and move on! I know sometimes it can be hard to do, but for your own well being and to be able to reach your goals, this is something that you should work on daily.
