Local artists, beat makers and rappers will be taking over the Hip-Hop Architecture exhibit in June and July.

The SpringBOX exhibit will be dressed up as a neighborhood block party; to recreate an environment that reflects hip-hop culture and builds a sense of community. The space will be designed using the elements of hip-hop, graffiti, break dancing, emceeing and DJing. James Garrett Jr. will share a presentation on the ways that architecture and hip-hop are connected. This event is for people 16 years old and older.

Saturday, June 29, 5 p.m.
