John Fountain and Ennies Fountain met, fell in love and married in 1953.

Sixty-five years later they will marry again in a vow renewal ceremony. Ennies Fountain, the blushing bride can’t wait to walk down the aisle to her groom, who still lights up when she enters the room. These two have pet names for each other, and still laugh hysterically together as they share stories. She, forever the homemaker, and he the provider, his life endeavor has been to make her happy, and she to make a happy home. They have 11 children, 41 grandchildren and 50-plus great-grandchildren.

This event hosted by the Fountain children, will be held May 26 at 2 p.m. at New Oil Christian Center Church, 116 E. 32nd St. S.
