The 47th Meda Annual Meeting will celebrate the organization’s minority entrepreneur customers, Minnesota business and community leaders, elected officials and minority business development stakeholders.

The June 11 meeting will honor the spirit and achievements of Meda’s minority entrepreneurs in Minnesota. In addition to highlighting clients, Meda will recognize the corporations, community partners and volunteers who have contributed over the past year to the success of minority business owners.

Asheesh Advani, president and CEO of Junior Achievement Worldwide, one of the largest NGOs in the world dedicated to educating young people about financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness, will keynote the event, which takes place from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Walker Art Center, 725 Groveland Pl., Minneapolis. Junior Achievement Upper Midwest is this year’s Meda Community Partner of the Year

Fredrikson & Byron law firm, has been named Meda Corporate Volunteer of the Year. The firm’s lawyers donate their time to Meda clients, helping entrepreneurs understand the legal implications of business ownership and providing instruction in Meda’s Mini MBA program.
