“Green for All” Do It Green! Minnesota to Announce Exciting Event Demonstrations

Minneapolis, Minn. - On November 23, 2019, Do It Green! Minnesota will host its 14th Annual Green Gifts Fair, an event that educates the Twin Cities on how to reduce waste around the holiday season and encourages the giving of environmentally sustainable gifts.

This year, the Green Gifts Fair announces a number of exciting new activity booths for fair attendees to visit. Activities this year include writing messages on kindness rocks, making sun catchers, creating natural ornaments, sustainable wrapping gift stations, creating gift tags from reusable materials, child play areas, and silent auction.

The Green Gifts fair is also featuring a number of educational demonstrations, such as a nature exploration station, monarchs and milkweed with master gardeners, learning how to start your own Little Free Library, exploring tips for reducing your carbon footprint, and even learning how two women reduced their monthly household waste down to the size of a mason jar!

Fair attendees are encouraged to pick up a passport at the fair entrance and choose a prize for visiting 5 of these exciting booths.

The Green Gifts Fair will take place Nov. 23, 2019 from 10am to 5pm at Midtown Global Market in Minneapolis. For more information, please visit doitgreen.org/green-gifts-fair.
