Nutrition Educator, SNAP-Ed Education

What will you do?
Nutrition educators teach nutrition classes, encourage physical activity, and change systems to increase access to healthy food. They work with partners in a variety of community settings including schools, non-profits, food shelves, and other social service agencies.
Who’s right for the job? Need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree in health, nutrition or a closely related field or a combination of education and related experience to total 4 years.
• 2 or more years of experience in teaching, community education, community engagement, or community health promotion with diverse audiences.
• A willingness to model Extension’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Excellent Benefits Package including medical & dental insurance and paid time off. Starting salary $36,899 based on qualifications.
