Minnesota Commissioner of Public Safety, John Harrington, and city leaders recently discussed Operation Safety Net on "Black Life Amplified" a virtual town hall. The discussion focused on the plans and preparation leading up to the Derek Chauvin trial.

Harrington, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, Minneapolis City Council Vice President Andrea Jenkins, Sasha Cotton, director of the office of violence prevention for Minneapolis and Adriene Thorton, Nurse and Infection Preventionist at Children’s MN were also part of the town hall which was hosted by Brittany L. Wright for Insight News.

"Black Life Amplified" is created in partnership by the African American Leadership Forum, Insight News, Northpoint Health and Wellness, MN Spokesman-Recorder, Children’s MN, Minnesota Community Care and Gray Matter.
