Rep. Ilhan Omar will hold a digital small business roundtable this evening to discuss federal, state and local resources for small business owners during the coronavirus crisis.
She will answer questions from constituents and discuss the recently passed COVID-19 relief package.
The COVID-19 relief package contains billions of dollars to help small businesses including $349 billion in loans for payroll, $10 billion in immediate disaster grants, $17 billion in debt relief to SBA borrowers, and full forgiveness of loans if small businesses retain all employees. Omar will be joined by Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, State Rep. Mohamud Noor, and Twila Kennedy from the Small Business Administration’s Minnesota District Office.
